Made from natural rattan & unlike baskets & accessories made from other types of rattan, Kubu wicker baskets are recognized by their muted & soft color palette. These particular hues range from a silvery-gray to warm taupe, these wicker baskets & storage solutions blend seamlessly & complement a variety of design schemes. This unique coloration is a result of the Kubu rattan aging process.
This aging process influences its color & makes it less susceptible to woodworms & other pests that feed on rattan fibers. The Kubu rattan is also firmer & thicker than other types of natural rattan. This difference in thickness helps make the finished baskets stand up to frequent use.
